End of the 2nd and the score remains, 4-3, Pittsburgh. I think the Rangers strategy of lulling Pittsburgh into a false sense of security has worked. Pitt is obviously ready for the pickin'. Bobbbiez, you can call the head office and tell them that any time they want to actually start playing, feel free.

Well, 5 minutes left in the game and the Rangers need to make up a 2 goal deficit just to stay in the game, not to mention the 2, going on 3 GAME deficit in the series. The horizon does not look good. It doesn't look good for the Yankees tonight either. I'm going to have to call my friend Freddie in Frankfort and leave him nasty messages. He'll have the same response Bobbbiez does.

Thats it, end of the 3rd and the Rangers go down, 5-3 against Pittsburgh. The Rangers are now down 3-0 in the series. I'm sure Pittsburgh will be easy pickings now that they are convinced of thier superiority.

"By IRA PODELL, AP Hockey Writer
NEW YORK (AP) Evgeni Malkin and the perfect Pittsburgh Penguins pushed the New York Rangers to the brink of elimination.
Malkin, hours after being announced as a finalist for the NHL MVP award, scored two power-play goals and added an assist to lift Pittsburgh to a 5-3 victory Tuesday night that stretched the Penguins' lead in the Eastern Conference semifinal series to 3-0.
The Penguins are 7-0 in the postseason, still rolling after a four-game sweep of Ottawa in the first round."

Wow! Nothing going right tonight. I just got booted off the forum. Don't know what happened there. Anyways. Thanks Dave for the up-dates, even thought it was all bad news. Kind of glad I didn't watch the game. My TV might not have survived it. I just hear that the Red Wings are 2 and Colorado is 1, second period. You"re getting better news then I got.

Sorry to continue the tide of bad news, but the Tigers just took another one from the Yankees in NY by a score of 6-2. I keep tellin' ya, start up a pro soccer league in Utica. With the growing East European population maybe you could field a winning team.
PS: Thanks for last nights updates. I got them before I left for work today.

lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you might be right on that one. Love my New York Teams but wish they would give me something to cheer about for a change. One good thing happening. ;D At least I'll be back home for the playoffs with my cable. Won't miss or have to put up with these damn Canuck channels any more. Was happy to do the announcing for you for a change. I really appreciate all you did to keep me informed with the Ranger's games. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Sh*ts the bed that tomorrow I'll be in the dark with everything to find out what happens in the games. Oh well, if nothing else, I'll be saving on my nails. Good luck to your Red Wings team. I'm hoping the Rangers win tomorrow and keep their chances alive, but if not and Detroit manages to be in the Cup games, I will be routing for them. Just for you, especially if the Canucks are in it to. ;D ;D
