My son in Utica did call me and say it was a terrific game, (told him, "how the hell was it a terrific game if the Rangers lost ).
Boy, did I screw up bringing him up.

Lundquist must have performed great according to the score. He faced 31 shots and he made 30 saves!! That's awesome. Sure wasn't him why they lost.

Even after hearing they lost I was in a great mood yesterday. Our pastor and the parishors put on a going-away luncheon for us and we had such a wonderful time with such wonderful people.
Then after that we had another get-together with other friends of ours that lasted till the wee hours of the morn.
Can't beat these country folks for their heart warming ways. Ain't like that in the city anymore.

Well, will just have to wait till Tuesday when both the Rangers and Detroit have their games.

I'm up and running online with the Rangers game when it starts. I'll have to run out for a while and pick up my son, fresh back from Clipper-country, so there will be a void in my reporting. WOW! The Rangers game is blacked out here in Detroit tonight! I just watched them 2 nights ago. Oh well, theres always the internet and the Tigers/Yankees is on so there is a NY sports connection anyways.
