I just checked the WKTV page Alan. It is closed from Windfall Road in Schuyler to the Frankfort bridge. The cops were pursuing someone out of Herkimer and the wreck is near the old Northside Bar, that second hand appliance place and Miller's Grove Rd. It is amazing how screwed up the first release of a news story can be. Two in a car that was hit were sent to St. E's and the driver that was running from the cops was airlifted to Syracuse.

WKTV said that some woman was thrown out of a car by the driver. Crazy

Yep, the OD updated their story. The guy running from the police argued with his girlfriend and ended up pushing her out of the car. He's a parolee. I guess he will be checking back into accomodations that he won't have to reserve on Hotels.com, lol.
It was just reported that the woman he hit has died at the hospital in Syracuse. I would say along with his parole violation he will be facing vehicular homicide or some sort of manslaughter charges.
Pretty damned stupid. A woman lost her life over a ticket for speeding in a school zone. He was paroled a month ago after serving time for possession of stolen property. Sounds like a real loser. I guess he hit the big time this trip. He will do some SERIOUS time now.

People are such idiots. Two kids passed me on the double yellow yesterday doing 75+, I was doing my normal 54. They hadnt a clue if a semi was coming round the corner ahead of me but were in a big hurry to find out if! Both were glaring at me like I pooped in their Wheaties! They were lucky the does in front of my house was dead already and not running in front of the both of us!
Why do we worry so much about guns killing folks when cars do it 1000 times more often? This driver should spend the next 20 or so in jail thinking about it and be forced to tell his story over and over again to kids with permits...

I see the same stuff while being a passinger on a bus. Like who in there right mind trys to cut a bus off on a city street. I'm glad I don't drive my nerves are a wreck now I can't imagine what it would be like behind the wheel. lol
