I've seen programs about this man. They call him the "Gentle Giant" and eventually he will die a premature death as there is something wrong with his pitutary gland and he will continue to grow until the day he dies.
It is a very sad story.

Unfortunately they all lead a very short life. They always seem to be in areas of poverty and unable to get the assistance they need. Your right thelma, a very sad story in itself.

Not only are the health issues very sad, I can't imagine living in a world where everything is guaged to a maximum average height and all the furniture is like "doll furniture" to you. I would imagine that about 2 feet of his legs would hang over a normal bed or footrest on a recliner. He must have a hell of a time getting into a car, and sitting at a conventional table on a conventional chair would be next to impossible. When he passes away, he may not fit into a hearse. I had a very good friend who was very large in stature. He was big as well as tall. I went with his widow to make the arrangements. He had to have a special order casket. It took 8 pall bearers plus two men from the funeral home on the ends of the casket, to carry him to the grave, due to the length of the casket, and he just barely fit into the hearse. It is a very sad affliction to have, and his life will be cut short by the condition. Very disturbing to see this happy face, and realize that he will not die of "OLD" age.
