VG, us too. Get the popcorn, pull out the sofa sleeper in the living room so me and then my four kids could huddle together and enjoy all the "monster movies." ;D

.....and then in the early 80's came the horror hostess, "Elvira." Don't think my boys watch that every week for the movies. It was more like Elvira's sexy costume.

speaking of Monster Movies reminds me of Dark Shadows and the new movie with Johnny Depp which looks spooktacularly funny. The original had me sitting on the edge of my sofa {{{{shaking}}}}}

He played a great vampire. Much more believable then most throughout the history of horror films. I really missed that series were it ended.

I met Alan Milair (Dr. E. Nick Witty) a few times over the years. He was a nice guy and a true gentleman. I do remember he was a chain smoker so I took it for granted he had died long ago. Monster Movie Matinee was on WSYR-TV then on channel 3 - now WSTM. Baron Daemon was on channel 9 WNYS, now WSYR-TV confused? you won't be after the next episode of Soap. BTW, Mike Price (Baron Daemon)is alive &well.

My favorite Matinee ever! I always watched it if my other sister didnt stop me, she was very anti TV back then, weve since then switched roles. Still would watch it if I had the time!
