Shit happens!!!! Doesn't make a difference who one is or working as at the time. The world is just getting sicker and sicker. For me, in cases as this, it seems people can't handle the situation they put themselves in and just don't want to take responsibility for their actions. I guess murder and getting rid of the problem to them is easier. Can't figure that one out.

Todd, I don't have the answer. I do know this, it's both men and women who are doing such violent crimes against their spouses, families and their children. I watch Court TV most of the time and watch all the trials they broadcast and I'm shocked at what people are doing today to another human being and people close in relation to them. I'm not one that shocks easily but I'm in total disbelief on what is happening in this very, very sick world today. The only things I can come up with is that drugs have alot to do with some of these sick reactions against another human being. Also, I see many trials where it's just that some make mistakes and don"t want to take responsibility of their screw ups, so they try to get rid of the mistake in any way they can, which in many cases ends up in murder. Don't know kiddo. It's almost like we're powerless to change things and that scares me, not for myself, but for my children and grandchildren who will have to be here alot longer then I will be. Would like to leave this world when my time comes knowing I leave without having to worry about my family's safety. Maybe that is why I get involved in my community and it's problems, in hopes of helping to correct the wrong and making it a safer place for my family to live like I was able to at one time. Maybe that is the answer. Maybe more people have to get involved and help. No one person can do it alone. "United we stand, divided we fall." We all have to make the choice.

That is the answer, I think. People not wanting to, or in younger generations' cases, not knowing how to take responsibility for the consequences of our actions. It is very disgusting how we can no longer accept responsibility for our actions. Look at the state and how it handles OIN. If they acted more responsibly, and handled the issues in a friendlier matter, the federal government might not have had to get involved with everything.
