Hell, by the time we are 75 we won't be able to walk to the shore to fish. My broken back limits my activity now, and I am only 61. What will happen with 14 more years of arthritis progressing in our raggedy old spines? Maybe if you can't fish, they give you vouchers for fish frys! haha.

No one told me about being "exempt" from the City and County taxes!!!!!! How do you go about this? I'll give the Assessors Office a call tomorrow and find out for myself.
I never really paid that much to my taxes as they are automatically paid out of the Escrow Account that is included in my mortgage payment. Thanks for the info!!!!!

Todd, I really believe when she loses, she will be one pissed off bitch and will move on sooner then later. ;D As much as I dislike her I would help fund her "going away" party. I hear she is looking for a small Latin American country to buy or take over if she loses her bid for the Presidency. Then, she can be in charge of something. Maybe she'll marry Raul.

The old broad reverses herself so much, she needs one of those beepers on her ass that they put on garbage trucks and bucket loaders.
I think we will see her or bill's picture on a post office wall, before we will see them on a dollar bill.

I don't know........At the rate her and Obama are going, I can see McCain taking the oath and then laying down in the casket for the trip to Arlington after the festivities.

Some of the comments to that article are quite entertaining. I thought I'd see more support, but for the most part, the majority of the comments rip into her arrogance and incompetence to lead this nation.

I think you just "hit the nail on the head" with this statement, Ralph. My oldest daughter was telling me she is going to "throw away her Vote" - she is voting for Nader as President - LOL!

Well Frank. I have read about the libertarian party, and listened to their party doctorine on talk radio, along with the flat tax etc. I have thought in the past of voting for a candidate that was out of the mainstream, but always chickened out, knowing that they would not win.
I guess to vote for a libertarian would be a brave political statement, and the more they won, the louder that statement made. I simply have never been brave enough to pull the lever.
It has always been a case of needing to vote for a candidate that had a plank in their platform concerning a serious problem such as the war. I have never wanted to "waste" my vote on a political statement, when there were critical issues to be decided between the two major parties, and my vote was better spent. Such subjects as the war, and other life altering issues have always been closer to my heart than taxes and healthcare. I am not rich, but I am more concerned with the lives of troops and the liberation of people that have been subjected to aggression and genocide.
In this election, I will vote for the candidate that will stay the course and not waste the lives of our war dead in vain. It is sad that people see only the negative put out by the media, instead of the lives saved and changed for the better. It is sad that people think a war is like a hockey game, and should be over in a precisely timed period.
I never want any more young men to be thrown away like our friends and fellow veterans were in Nam. All of my friends that lost their lives, lost them for nothing. To this day, show me the grave of a draft dodging, limp dicked, pacifist bastard demonstrator from the 60's, and I will pee on his grave.
People that aren't willing to back our troops and fight for the freedoms they represent, should move to France with the rest of the chicken shits and pansies.

I agree with some of the principals of the Libertarian Party, just about enough that I think it would be a good idea to expand thier influence to give the current Republican Party a run for thier money. I believe in a limited volunteer government, not one that encourages these dinosaurs like Byrd, Spector and Jefferson to continue to feed off of us for thier entire life. I don't like the extent of legalization of drugs, gambling and other "vice" rights that they believe in. I think the Libertarian Party will make more headway if they concentrate on local elections until they develop enough of a base to challenge on a national level. Having a Libertarian President will do no good without support in Congress.
