I'd want the job. Any country wanting to hold anti-American rallies would lose our funding and military support (we'll see how long they last without our support). Any country threatening American Interests would be met with swift military force. China would see the worst ban on their exports to American ports, since before Nixon opened up relations. Their exports would be embargoed if they failed to meet American safety and quality standards. Any country jacking up tariffs on American products would receive double that tax on our import tax of their products shipped to our country (enough of this free trade shit, we're the only country that buys it at our citizens' expense). Any American citizen wishing to go to college and is actually admitted to college should receive a full ride (I'm sick of the foreigners getting free rides while my colleagues and I are forced to incur exorbitant amounts of debt just to receive the same education).

Geez, Swimmy, I'd rather you be president than Sec'y of Commerce. American wholesale and retail businesses are making a lot of money on Chinese imports. So are the construction firms building the malls. And the revenue to the transportation industry as they cart all those goods around the country. In short, it's complicated. By the way, I thought foreign students were no longer subsidized by American taxpayers. I may be wrong. Do you know which programs fund these giveaways and their purpose?

Oh frank, don't know if I should go there . Not so sure I can go along with some of the duties that some interns believe are part of their job. Besides, what makes you so sure, it would be that way. You as President and me as the intern. ;D Besides, I don't own any knee pads .

I don't know, dave. I just know that a ton of my friends in college received full rides and they were non-citizens.

I've traveled to Jamaica quite a few times and was told there by students that the Jamaica government has a program where it takes some of their brightest students and send them to school here while supporting them and paying their school expenses. All done in hopes these young people can bring back new ideas to help improve their economy. Which is extremely poor.
Get this. We think we have it bad here at times. In Jamaica parents have to pay for each one of their children to attend school from kindergarten and up. The more money you're willing to pay, the better schools your kids go to.
