There is a cute ebook on line (with an immersion app) about Owney the postal dog. (google it ) (thinking of CB and his grandkids) On WinXP can only down load the story but using Win7 will get program or can download to iPad....the animation version on Win7 is the best to get if you have it. ;D

Chris, That's great, thanks. The next family dinner will be Friday. I'll try it out then. It will probably help that they have a Grandpa with a white mustache and a comfy tummy who reads to them.
When my wife got her Nook color (about a year ago) I was impressed with the capability of book files with attached audio. So far it seems to be used mainly for kids books but I can see so many other uses.
Those who have read Monk in the Cellar both as the blog & in print realize that the sound track adds a level of richness to the story. For a time regular posters on the More Stories forum regularly attached music to the posts. That's dropped off a bit in recent months.
