Panel rebukes Craig in men's room case from boston.com February 14, 2008
The Senate Ethics Committee said yesterday that Senator Larry Craig of Idaho acted improperly in connection with a men's room sex sting last year. In a letter to the Republican senator, the ethics panel said Craig's attempt to withdraw his guilty plea after his June arrest at a Minneapolis airport was an effort to evade the legal consequences of his own actions. Craig's actions brought discredit on the Senate, the letter said. The six members of the committee - three Democrats and three Republicans - told Craig they believed that he "committed the offense to which you pled guilty" and that "you entered your plea knowingly, voluntarily, and intelligently." That whole situation changed my way of thinking. When I go to a restaurant with elevator music in the men's room, I am very aware and careful not to tap my foot to the music while sitting on the throne. Ya never know who is in the next stall. I would hate to have an overweight and balding, hormone crazed senator trying to climb over the wall between the stalls, LOL. Talk about invasion of my privacy!
Remember, toe tapping is solicitation, especially in an airport. If you are constipated, be patient, and above all, don't tap your foot with impatience near the partition. If in distress, call a mathmetician to work it out with a pencil.
Your whole life can be ruined by an overzealous cop, or a love crazed senator, haha!
PS: He may have entered his plea, "voluntarily, and knowingly" but it was sure not "intelligently" haha!
