Not much of a compromise, seems more like the democrats caved. At least Congress was able to pass something.

Wow, it was just a few hours ago Harry Reid was thumping his chest claiming he had the votes and he wasn't bluffing, dismissing any chance of compromise on the Senate's stance.

I would love to play poker with that guy.
