The state finds it immoral or what have you to have an abortion. They can't constitutionally prevent non-convicts from having abortions, so they're imposing their views on incarcerated convicts, probably under the guise of the fact that they have reduced rights as opposed to you and me who have not been convicted.
Regardless what my views on abortion are, I think it's wrong for the state to step in and tell me what my views should be, irrespective a person's status as a criminal.

Even bigger question, how are inmates getting pregnant? and why are inmates getting pregnant?
And no it should not be up to the state to say they can't have abortions if they also do not tell non-inmates they can't have abortions.

Just a silly move on the part of the state. I have to think that if a woman gets pregnant in a female correctional facility, the state is going to either have to find the lucky MALE cross dresser that sneaked into such a glorious buffet of horney women, or they better stand by for the lawsuits against the corrections officers that are spending their coffee breaks with inmates in the mop closet. LOL

A woman could have entered the facility preggers.. some even get special visits i am sure....
i would guess they dont get much mop closet time as they probably "stick it between the bars"
