I hate the new Facebook news thread and it gets worse. read tinyurl.com/3wbwvvfSuckerberg has no regard for anyone but himself and his large ego. I am really seriously thinking of "DUMPING" FB. I am sorry but I do not need to be connected to FB when I am not on FB and unless I wish to share my stuff I do not like the idea of being forced to share just to read something. "Like" has only one button but it does not necessarily mean "I like it" It is just the key to the door to enter. Most people are so hooked on FB it will be hard to let go and that is what Mark is counting on. |

I keep quitting FB, but it will only "deactivate" me. (I think there is now a way to permanently delete myself; I'll have to investigate it.)
These new tracking functions appeal to kids who evidently couldn't care less about their privacy. I suppose when I was a teenager I wanted everyone to know everything I was doing. I don't care much one way or the other today, but I get annoyed with all the services trying to collect data on me.
It would seem to me that a business opportunity might exist for a social network that is more geared to the tastes of those who are more private, but all that data is worth money and that's why FB collects and sells it.

I facebooked once but really don't need it. I did have the Utica Police Department page on it but so many arrest's day after day in the city is depressing and not to target any race the super majority are black and men beating up women seems to be a new norm.

I would disagree with you Alan. Many of the pictures I see on the UPD site are of WHITE males that have choked or beaten their spouse or significant other. I guess when you have a situation where most whites have migrated to the outskirts or suburbs, and the inner city is populated by mainly a mix of minorities from around the world, the crime in the inner city is naturally going to be committed by minorities as they form a majority of those left dwelling in the inner city.
It doesn't take a minority to beat a woman. Simply a male lacking in testosterone, without balls, and with a weak spine. A panty waist that can't express anger without taking it out on a defenseless female or child. Their little pink panties just get all in a wad and they take it out on those weaker than themselves. Disgusting scumbags, no matter the ethnicity or race.
