The above article is in today's OD giving all the details on how BOTH Bank Robbers were caught! Hats off to our Sheriff Dept. and UPD - job well done.

Within 24 hours, ALL of these Bank Robbers were caught and arrested. Pretty damn good police work, in my opinion.

Congrats to the investigative skills and resources of the OC sheriff's department, as well as the UPD.

Isn't it amazing how effective the sheriff's department is, and the county exec can't find a way to fund their pay raise, and won't settle their long overdue contract issues?

I posted on the OD site this morning about the deletion of the OCPBA's long running thread over there.

All I can say is that I am glad that the deputies and Larry Tanoury have all come here to this forum. I am sure that we will get a balanced and fair discussion of the issues with those two entities on the forum.

Join me in supporting our deputies, and in continuing the discussion of their plight until it is fairly resolved, and they are fairly compensated for the dangerous and valuable service that they provide!

Hang in there guys, you ARE appreciated, as little as that appreciation seems to be expressed sometimes.

Larry Tanoury Jr. is an honest and brave young man that will speak to the issues honestly, and freely give his opinions, as long as we don't try to twist his words politically, or pin him down in a derogatory discussion that will harm his sensitive position as a member as well as a legislator. I am confident that his offerings on this forum will be a positive asset, and that none of our members will jeopordize his status as a member and friend of this forum, by posting anything that is not purposeful or respectful of his position.

I support both the deputies, as well as Larry Jr. The deps and Larry are both valued friends of mine who both have my utmost respect. May they all succeed in their worthwhile endeavors.
