Mayor Roefaro will deliver a speech entitled "100 Days of Progress" on April 9 at 8:30 am in the IT Theater at MVCC. He will also outline his plan for the rest of his tenure. It's open to the public. Thought you'd like to know this. Should be very interesting. Have to give the guy some credit. First time I've ever heard a Mayor of Utica do this. Don't know if I'll be able to make it because of being under the weather and do want to avoid crowds for awhile, but if anyone will be going please give us a report. Really don't want to depend on the OD for that.

Sounds like the regular state of the city address with a fancy new name to me.

It is the first one I've heard of. Usually we didn't hear about future plans until it was proposed to the common council, on the drawing board or unless you knew someone close to the Mayor or someone leaked it to the OD. I haven't had any dealings with the new Mayor yet and moving back to Utica soon, I'm sure I will, so time will tell. Do know this, someone is shaking up all in the Codes Department, because on my last two visits to Utica I complained about two different properties and before I came back here the problems were corrected without me screaming my brains out. For me, that was a very good sign. It might seem small to some but it's a good beginning for us that live in target areas.

Well, roefaro still has yet to unlease his "master plan" maybe it's about time to unleash his plan. Julian unleashed his during the campaign. But the democrats mastered the ability to win without a plan.
Improving the area starts with the small things. Guliani got that figured out. :-)
