1974; Freshman year at S.U.; my roommate used to flash a fake press pass to go to the front of concerts. I followed her through the crowd and stood with her, elbows leaning on the stage at a Tull concert. Ian Anderson was amazing but a tad scary as I nearly got kicked in the face multiple times by him as he danced around the stage!

It was pretty wonderful and I found out a few years ago that my guy was at the same show. Of course we didn't meet for another 30something years, but we love sharing the memories and still love the band!

It was Kismet for sure, Chris. We also discovered that we had both been at many clubs to see Mossback Mule Band in the day... and we recognize that our time is now and wasn't then, but it's fun to realize we crossed paths many times through music back then...

First time I saw Tull was in 81 in Germany, the Beastie Tour, super great, what a jam! Saw Ian at the stone a few months back, Front row, center stage, watch those Kicks! his voice is starting to crack but he was still fabulous! Got to meet and great with him, me, my buddy and Ian in the picture, looked like 3 old guys!
