I had serious reservations about Maciol when he was running for Sheriff after his poor showing as Mayor of NY Mills. Especially how he tried to pad over Chief Brad Frankland's activities. The Knoxboro incident confirmed much of my reservations.
Not that Townsend would have been any better I suspect.

I guess we need to wait and see how all this play out in court. Either way when will the violence stop. It is a terrible circle.

I guess we need to wait and see how all this play out in court. Either way when will the violence stop. It is a terrible circle. You know Alan, for many years now I have stated there is a war on our streets and it is escalating worse then any war we have had to deal with, but I guess it falls on deaf ears. Over the weekend, when you have a captain in the Marine Corp who recently returned home from a deployment to Afghanistan only to be assassinated in his own country while just sitting in his police patrol car by someone who had previously shot and wounded another civilian, something is terribly wrong with that picture. Again over the weekend, when you have three officers shot and one killed in a traffic pull over you would think the public would wake up and realize we are at war here in our own country. I can go on and on naming police officers, including some of our own here in NYS, that have been killed in just this last month. Some of them served safely over seas only to be killed right here at home and only because they wear a policeman's uniform. "When will the violence stop," I am afraid not until the public stops defending or making excuses for those guilty of these murders and stands together strong against our court system in demanding tougher sentences for those who are our enemies doing the killings.

I'm not sure how old this is. And if you go to YouTube you'll see the a**hole comments beneath the video.

Now, here's an obvious example of the police not doing their job. One of them should have immediately put a bullet through the head of this a**hole.

The second officer has succumbed to his wounds. The third officer is still in critical condition. God bless these three and all the heroes serving on our soil.
