One might be a little more aware of the laws and would not be transporting dope in a car that is going to draw a traffic stop for overly tinted windows.
We just had a car load of dumb asses from NY City that were arrested out here on I-81 for traveling in excess of 80mph. DUH! When the cop asked for permission to search the vehicle he found illegal prescription drugs, and magic mushrooms along with pot. They were headed to the Bonaroo music festival. Another case of incurable "STUPID." If ya have a pocket or a carload of dope, ya simply don't travel through Washington County Virginia at 80 mph.

Damn, you would think most people know tinted windows is questionable and if not done properly, you're breaking the law, would stop anyone from transporting anything illegal, especially drugs. Dumb a**!

One would think that we are stepping on the rights of the individual life, liberty and persuit of happiness. These are personal choice options no different than a womans right to choose abortion or a gay couples choice to marry. I mean this should apply across the board and not be limited.

Interesting point, Alan. However, the difference is that no one's rights are absolute: you cannot exercise your rights to someone else's detriment. Murdering, raping, stealing from others, etc. certainly are within one's freedom of expression, but it violates other peoples' rights not to be murdered, raped, or robbed. Same goes for drugs. Drugs harm more than just the user. The user's family and friends are effected. The user's employers are effected in hurt productivity and lost profits. And the public is hurt by having to support the user with public assistance or else the user would find himself out on he streets.
