Four years have passed since we all received the call of "officer down." All wondering whose loved one it was. Hoping and praying for our own but also knowing it didn't make a difference who it was because we are all family and the pain felt would be just as great. To love one as a family member outside your own family circle is not understood by many others and never will be unless you live in their world. During troubled times the love and support of your huge extended family is all that holds you together and is like no other witnessed. As part of Officer Tom Lindsey's family and remembering that day four years ago I offer my blessings to all of Tom's immediate family, his many friends and much love to his extended family at the UPD. RIP Tom. You will never be forgotten. God's blessings to all.

The brother hood that is experienced and found in departments such as Police, Corrections, Fire Departments, Military and etc is something that can't be explained. In a time of need every emotion or beliefs of each other are taken out of the equation to help and assist that fellow brother or sister.
If only the whole world could resolve problems such as these departments have done and will continue to do.
May all our fallen hero's rest in peace and may they never be forgotten!
