The article mentions that she was recently separated from her husband. I hope she is OK... the area around Limekiln is dense forrest.

Sure is. When do the bears come out of hibernation? Anyone know?? A Black Bear would rarely attack a human. She has more to fear from our fellow humans, than any bear. She unfortunately probably got injured and died from exposure to the elements? Sad no matter what. There's always that slight chance of someone "staging" their disappearance in order to start a new life and assume a new identity, Highly unlikely I know, but it has been known to happen.

Or, her former husband harmed her or had her harmed? God forbid, but these things do happen!

Limekiln bears like donuts and bacon. People on a neighboring campsite years ago left those items out in a cheap styrofoam cooler and found out the the combo suited black bears just fine.

I was thinking she might not even be up north. She may in Layfayette and her car taken to Limekiln.

One thing for sure is that if she DIDN'T voluntarily park her car there and disappear or run away from her marital difficulties or something, some unlucky hiker is going to come across some really bad smelling remains before the summer is over. The Limekiln, Moose River Plains area is a huge area to try and search. There is a lot of wilderness between the Limekiln gate and the Village of Indian Lake.

My suspicions were founded. I did not believe they would find her alive.
Cannot rule out foul play. Just because her facebook page says SHE said she was going hiking does not mean nobody else didn't have access to her page. Its pretty common for people to store their log in info in IE and therefore anyone else who has access to their computer can have access to their account. What's to say the computer at the house of her estranged husband didn't have her information? Pretty easy for someone to create their alibi this way.
An autopsy will confirm how long she's been dead out there.

"She was found in a stand of conifer trees between ..." Who writes this stuff? Her body was found.
