I just read that Gomez and Dave will be on in the morning on WOUR. I liked them when they were on Rock 107. I couldn't stand listening to that Bob and Tom Show. At least Gomez and Dave are somewhat local. Still not a huge WOUR fan. I used to like listening to Mix 102 but now they've turned into another Lite 98.7. I guess it's either CD's sing to myself!!

The radio up there has totally changed, hasn't it? Down here I found a good station called The Buzzard. www.wxra945.com/main.html In the afternoons it sounds like 107 USED to sound, but in the mornings I cannot listen to it because John Boy and Billy are on and they are the two most annoying people I have ever listened to. www.thebigshow.com/home/index2.php

92.7 isn't bad when they play music. You have to wait until after Imus in the morning and then Keeler is on in the afternoon for a while. Otherwise it's the mp3 or cd's for me. I just got a cord to allow me to plug my mp3 into the stereo in my truck. It's great !!Gotta love technology.
Anybody familiar with the song Kip sings at the end of Napoleon Dynamite? My 13 yr old son does a great impression.

No, onjeesun. Why don't you hum a few bars?
uhhh ... what is Napoleon Dynamite? -- frankcor (slipping further and further out of touch with pop culture)

It was a bizarre movie about a kid whose sense of fashion was stuck in the 80s and how his life exists in high school. It was over-hyped and not too impressive.

I'm starting to feel self-conscious about the sweater I'm wearing right now. It's 21 years old. I like it, though! I'm gonna wear it even if I have had it since high school! :-)

You know francor....I've been humming that song for you, at your request, since 8:52, and there has been no response. My wife is becoming annoyed. ;D
The song is at the end of the movie, (which you had to be young or young at heart to appreciate). The guy sings a song to his bride at their wedding ceremony, about how he loves technology.....oh...and her.
People either thought the movie was hilarious or they hated it. Not unusual.

I wasn't trying to knock 80's fashion styles. Just describing his sense of fashion. If you wanted to see what a 1980s geek looked like, Napoleon Dynamite fits the bill. Kudos to you for having stuff that fits from 20 yrs ago.

Not to mention the merchandising. The VOTE FOR PEDRO shirts alone! Come on. Like it or not it was a huge success albeit more of a cult following.
Personally, I thought it was funny.....but then again, I like fiberglass underwear.
Live and let live.
