Witness to bullying |should step forward

Some teachers just turn their heads to look the other way, I remember. But if others step up to help those being bullied, it'd make life easier for everyone.

There should be more suspensions and expulsions for kids that intentionally terrorize other kids. As usual the law protects the offender/criminal at the expense of the innocent. Just a fact of life that our school kids need to put up with that crap.

The way the Utica School Board handles these matters is the person that does the hitting is the one that gets suspended for 5 days.

IF you hit the bully back to defend yourself, YOU also get suspended!

This is what my 17 yr old GD is faced with everyday!
