Just want to applaud the members of our police force (including my two wonderful sons) for donating their time tomorrow as they once again host their "Shop With A Cop" day with over 50 needy children. The time they have donated for this event is just not for tomorrow's shopping spree for the children, but for the hundred of hours they put in on holding many benefits to raise this money for the Tom Lindsey Fund. "Shop With A Cop" is just one of many events held by our police officers that gives back to our community. These children not only will have $100 each to buy whatever they'd like that Santa might not otherwise be able to afford to give them for Christmas, but they get their own cop to help them pick out their presents and spend time with. No better way to help improve the relationship between children and police officers.
