Now, that's sharing the Christmas spirit. Wonderful! Reminds when my kids were little and we joined our neighbors going door to door singing Christmas carols. No better way to receive the true feeling of Christmas. So sad that in todays world people are not united anymore. Thank you Chris. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

We actually did that in Newport with the school chorus.

All the good things we once had and shared have disappeared. Picture me taking my grandchildren singing Christmas carols door-to door today in this world with so many wackos out there. It's very, very sad that they can't experience what I was able to do and what their parents also enjoyed. It also shows on Halloween now. It was safe for me when I was younger and my kids to go trick or treating even without an adult but today no matter where you live parents are not allowing their children to go even with an adult in fear of what some wacko might give their kids. How sad it that? Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one seeing that or is it because I'm old enough to have experienced and remember the good things that once was?

bobbbiez the good things that once was will always be and never will change. It is what it is and are past will be with us to the last experience we hold in our minds as kids.Just think the kids now days will say when they get older, remember we had to go out with our parents to do these things. Now days they do it over the internet not like us with our folks...LOL you never know And it's good to be old so you can have those thoughts of our past. love you Jay

You are so right Jay. Clipper and I reminisce quite often about the good things we experienced in our past. When one does get older that is one of the things that keep us going. Like Bob Hope use to say, "thanks for the memories" and I am grateful I have such good ones. Just want the same for my grandchildren. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you and yours my friend. Love ya!
