Hey thanks, that's a great idea. Can I soak the cherries in bourbon beforehand.
I don't see why not except that you should keep in mind that the candied cherries are on the sticky but dry side so soaking them in any liquour could make them too wet for the dough. Give it a shot (no pun intended)
