Someone from Utica on my FB wall posted they made 38 cookies already. (Boy I would reeeeealy like to be her "friend") Do you have any special cookies that you make or look forward to.
My favorite and #1 is still Christmas Cut Out frosted of course. It wouldn't be Christmas with out them. Then next in line that I make are Russian Tea Cookies (those are the rich cookie dough with crushed walnuts and rolled in powdered sugar) Buck Eyes (taste just like Reeses..peanut buttter balls dipped in chocolate Thumb Prints...rich cookie dough with jam in the center

I guess you will have to make Christmas corn muffins with no sugar added, and make the frosting out of flour and water and food coloring. Yukky but not "sweets".

Sugar cookies are a must in my house my daughter has to decorate, and then I make these cherry cookies. It is a marachino cherry stuffed with a chocolate chip, then rolled in dough, baked and then dipped in chocolate.

you should not have a problem. they are the easiest cookie to make. I like to stick a surprise in them. I use candied whole cherries and stick one inside each.

Hey thanks, that's a great idea. Can I soak the cherries in bourbon beforehand.
