Overlooked in all the media attention on questions such as will Minnesota's 8th Congressional District switch from Democratic representation to Republican for the first time since 1946 (when it was the 10th Congressional District but who's counting?) is the possibility for real change in New York.
The shift of only a few votes in key upstate state senate districts could result in a seismic shift. New York could change from being ruled by three men from Manhatten to being ruled by two men from Manhatten and a guy from Long Island.
Yes, it could happen here and upstaters will decide. Consider your vote carefully on Nov 2nd.
