Seems that behind all that arrogance and self righteous attitude, there was a lawyer that was not has smart as he seems to think he is.

I have no use for a man that withholds money from his children in a family court custody case. The kids did nothing to bring about the divorce. In fact if this guy made as big of an ass of himself in the bedroom as he has in the media, his wife was most likely justified in divorcing him. ROFL

Seems that one of the people that brought forth a complaint about him is named Tanoury. Could it be the same Tanoury that had kissed his ass and campaigned for him for County Exec? I think I remember telling him at the time that the guy struck me as being pompous and a legend in his own mind. Did Leo represent Larry Jr in his suit against the City of Utica? I wonder if that is where there was malfeasance and reason to file a complaint and suit? If so, I feel sorry for Larry and for his being misled and screwed by that guy.

People hire a lawyer when they are in dire need of COMPETENT legal representation. To give a person anything less is simply despicable.

According to the kid, leon did a wonderful job for him. Apparently, the ethics committee approached the kid and asked him to give a statement; he gave a flattering one for leon.

Regardless the situation, I have no respect for a parent who refuses to support his children (financially or more importantly emotionally). The man refuses to see his daughters in a supervised setting because he believes he does not need supervised visitation. A true parent who cares about his children would consume every minute with his children, regardless the setting and fight to change it to something more appropriate. So, for all intents and purposes, I agree with clipper's label of leon being a deadbeat parent.

However, there does appear to be a minute tadbit of merit to his current complaints that the old guard is trying to silence him. I just question how much of it is politically motivated versus the result of his own doing.
