I think Larry and Sammy are reversed ... I think my friend Larry Locash ( Sam & Larry's cousin ) ended up with that Stratocaster when I played w/ him in the 70's !!!

I remember playing some jobs with Pete Locash (Locasio), at Blue Skies, which was on the road to Frankfort. Pete was an auto body repairman at Benson Chevrolet, an excellent guitarist, and also, a really nice guy. Maybe he was your friend Larry's dad, or, uncle.

No Sammy and Larry are not reversed I've know both of the brothers since I was ten years old.And Larry Locash was there cousin as kids we went to there house and played our guitars all day long.As far as Pete goes I never met the man but I do think he is related to Larry one way or another. As I remember there was two Locash brothers Larry and the other guy, I do not remember his name sorry.

Larry played bass long after we broke up as Willie and the New yorkers. The bass player in the picture is Steve foster.Larry played rhythm guitar with me since the start of any group. First we were called the new yorkers then Willie & the new yorkers ,then we broke up and changed to the new york express.I was the drummer from start to the end.I first met Larry, Sammy and Steve around 1958 when my family bought the house on elm street.I watched Larry play his grandfathers guitar on the porch of there house that is how it all got started.I have a film of us playing in my backyard in 1960 no sound.I had it changed over to a CD.It shows me even playing guitar at that time upside down because I was left handed.Sorry the picture stands as is S Foster bass,S Saponaro lead guitar,C Curry singer,J Platt drummer,W Tracey lead singer,L Saponaro rhythm guitar.Hope to see you or meet you at the jam reunion...J Platt
