Wow, what a big day in the ball park yesterday.

Ubaldo Jimenez pitcher for the Colorado Rockies had a no-hitter against the Atlanta Braves to win 4-0. Pretty neat since it was the first in the 18 year history for the Rockies and the majors' first of the season. Great pitching. WTG Jimenez!

Then the Mets beat the St Louis Cardinals 2-1 but it took 20 innings for that victory. Pretty sure the bleachers were empty by time that game was won. Congrats to the Mets! Hope they get plenty of sleep before their next game.

Last but not least, my team the "New York Yankees" beat the Texas Rangers 7-3 to clinch 4th straight series since their first in 1926 with Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth. Great game Yanks!

Actually since moving south, I can't get yankee games on tv, so I have become an Atlanta fan.

My boys and I got a chance to see history in baseball made today. What an exciting game when the Oak A's pitcher, Barden, delivered a perfect game. The 19th perfect game accomplished in the history of baseball. TERRIFIC!!!!!!!!!!

That was terrific and having all my boys with me on this special day watching a baseball game together again was PRECIOUS!

What a game the Yanks played against the Red Socks last night beating them 11-9. Nothing gives me more pleasure then to see the Yanks zipper the Boston fans up. ;D
