Robbery on James Street

OK it actually started on West Street.

At about 4 p.m. April 1, the strong-arm robbery ensued on the 1600 block of West Street, Oczkowski said. The weather was sunny and reached highs in the mid 70s according to weather reports.

"Based on the weather conditions, we know there were so many people that were outside and someone would have to have seen it," he said.

Oczkowski said one of the males verbally threatened the victim to give up his money, then began to strangle him until the victim gave up a money clip. The victim, walked to his vehicle, parked in the far west side of the Thomas M. Lindsey Public Safety Center, and the suspects stole a briefcase and a Thompkins County Bank bag containing an undisclosed amount of money. The briefcase contained personal papers and keys that were crucial to him operating his business.

simple answer is yes lots of mutants running around!

so, let's get this straight... these two yahoos choke the ATM guy in front of a store where mabye about 10 - 20 folks are hanging out- I am assuming this is an appropriate number given the setting, place, date, time and weather. No body does anything. they just all watch the ATM guy being robbed. The AtM guy then walks to his car across the street- after being choked and robbed and these hoo has follow him and rob him again - under the cameras - in the parking lot of the police station... is this correct? This is odd, but not impossible. I believe it did happen, I am sure it happened, but there is something about it... I don't know... anyhow, these two perps will probebly get off with a slap on the keester, because : Lol: "We just had to rob the ATM guy, man. it aint our faults! That money was just too tempting and, if he don't wanna get robbed, quit walking around on the street with all that money! besides, we gotta get some drugs 'cause society has f'd us all up and so, hey, don't blame us. We was just hanging out minding our own business looking for some action when this guy walked outta the store with a bag of money. What the hell do you expect in this neighborhood? We just had to rob him!"

Kinda gotta hand it to our part of the SE. Here the legal gun owners, shoot the illegal gun owners and the problems balance out without a lot of less hassle. If a crackhead with a 9mm crosses the threshold, ya dust em with a 12 guage and call the cops. Seems a lot more people here in the South are inclined to keep a weapon within reach, and are not afraid to use it to defend what is theirs. Kinda discourages a lot of home invasions and such drug related crap as that. When ya see the sign "this property is protected by Smith and Wesson" around here, ya damned sure better believe it and take heed.
