True Clipper but he's as well known for his over the top frivolous "use" of the law. How about when he sued a the publisher of his book because HE didn't have it edited before print.
"I can't believe that he would take the welfare of his own children and turn it into his own personal campaign against family law. The kids are the one's that are deprived due to his ignorance, not he or his ex." There's NOTHING to respect there.

yes stoney, it was settled out of court, but Leo represented Larry in getting that settlement as far as I know. It never had to go to trial, but Larry didn't just settle it himself without representation, and the city didn't offer it without legal representation and negotiation.

I understand, but just the way you worded it wasn't quite right. He didn't exactly "win" anything as the city did not admit to any wrong-doing.

sometimes its easier and cheaper to settle than it is to pay the lawyers to fight..

A bit of amusing irony. Months back, swimmy and I got into a pretty heated exchange wich was finally settled when we agreed that he was a putz and I was a moron or vice versa , I actually thought he was Leon for a while into the discussion because of his OIN knowledge and his family advocacy work.

I'm still in shock you could confuse me with leon. lol. How have you been, Rod? I hear you're quite busy with the 912ers.

Been good man, how about yourself? Not me on the 912ers front. I agree with a good deal of the ideology but Glenn Beck and some of it is too far out there for me. But I was in Boston this weekend and it got my patriotic streak all riled up. There's nothing like standing on the balcony from which the Declaration of Independence was read to Bostonians for the first time. I do remember thinking "Man, I thought this guy'd be much better @ making an argument given his reputation. I'm kicking his ass all over this forum."
