If you don't F-ing like it, then take me to F-ing small claims court!!! I said , calmly, "Don't I know you?" and he said "Yeah, I'm your local Free to lay ( Frito Lay) man. Honest to God! And I said, "I think Iv'e seen you somewhere before." And he said "Why don't you shut up , dumb b---ch and just do your job! Ho. Hum. Just another day in the heighborhood. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

The woman probably wanted heat in her apartment.

Mabye she wanted walls, windows, a ceiling and a floor! Klotz would probebly sell his Granny's glass eye if he thought he could get five cents for it! I see The city is taking down his James Street dump down and the poor baby is " unhappy" about it. Slap on some siding, Klotz, and clean up the toilets. You'll have it ready for tenants in no time!!!

Her stairway collapsed. She's tired of climbing up a ladder to get to her 3rd floor apartment. She's 70 yrs.old. These tenants are a pain in the ass! Next thing u know they'll want hot water!

Stoney, read "Nickeled and Dimed." Barbara Ehrenreich. Great book. www.amazon.com/Nickel-Dimed-Not-Getting-America/dp/0805088385/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1265762212&sr=8-1"Millions of Americans work full-time, year-round, for poverty-level wages. Inspired in part by the rhetoric surrounding welfare reform, which promised that a job—any job—can be the ticket to a better life, Barbara Ehrenreich decided to join them. But how does anyone survive, let alone prosper, on $6 an hour? To find out, Ehrenreich left her home, took the cheapest lodgings she could find, and accepted whatever jobs she was offered. Moving from Florida to Maine to Minnesota, she worked as a waitress, a hotel maid, a cleaning woman, a nursing home aide, and a Wal-Mart sales clerk. She lived in trailer parks and crumbling residential motels. Very quickly, she discovered that no job is truly "unskilled," that even the lowliest occupations require exhausting mental and muscular effort. She also learned that one job is not enough; you need at least two if you intend to live indoors." In Fiona's case, I consider her kind of a missionary.

I read nickle and dimed. Great book. I was poor up until last year when I recieved a sizeable inheritance from my great aunt Lysistrata Aristophanes! And who says" never trust Greek's bearing gifts" ;here's a joke I made up and won $50.00 for. See if you can figure it out! It's a philosophical baseball joke: a little "Socretease" : Why couldn't the ancient Greeks ever win any baseball games?

Ancient Greeks, baseball ... Homer, I'm totally brain locked on how to put that together into a joke. Too much pressure!

I definitely give you a lot of credit, Fiona. People should not be treated the way you were. I've worked a lot of weird jobs myself in the past.
And I'm wracking my brain over that joke...hmmmm
