Happy New Year everyone! 2009 was fun, now I hope 2010 will be successful. I guess there's a difference. We had our last meeting yesterday, but until midnight, I expect Ralph to still address me as Legislator. hahaha. Thank you all for all the support and honest advice over the past two years. Keep it coming because I'll need it.

Thank you Larry for keeping them on their toes and keeping the public updated on the shenanigans being played out in the legislative chambers. Your term as a legislator has been nothing but refreshing as far as I am concerned, and the circumstances surrounding your failure to get re-elected are just plain sad and a loss to the district. They obviously are misinformed and duped by your opponent's campaign, or are just plain unconcerned until a matter comes up that affects them personally, and hits THEIR pocket book. Then they will squeal like pigs being slaughtered.

Keep up the good works, and hang in there. I expect to still see you posting and giving your opinion on the issues of interest. You can speak even more freely than before, and possibly have even MORE influence on the voters than you were able to while held to party loyalty and party policies.

Stoney, you love those meetings, lol. I wish you came to a few. If you're ever interested, I have every single meeting from the past two years on DVD. If you ever want me to burn a copy so you can make fun of me, let me know. lol

Thanks Ralph and great analogy with the skating uphill. But hey, who said it would be easy?

And Bobbie, thanks but I sure don't feel young. You're in better shape than me.

And Clipper, what can I say, you always have a way of making people feel better. You should have been a shrink. haha. Now we need to get the conversations and debates going.

Larry, I just love watching how people act. Therefore I watch the CC meetings, OC meetings, Water Board meetings, & anything else I can find. I truly wish Herkimer county would televise theirs. I used to go to meetings all the time when I had the energy. It's certainly not "to make fun of you"; if anything, you were always the one to throw a cherry-bomb in the works & liven up the proceedings!
