At 3:48 pm The New York State Liquor Authority voted to issue an Emergency Summary Suspension of the Bogie’s Liquor License! I was an interesting event to watch. Folks with brains prevailed.

LOL!! You can watch the hearings on-line from their web site. All done via tele-conference.
Took them less than a minute for the three of them to vote that this place was not in the publics best interest!

It only shows that common sense CAN prevail when you take Utica's politics out of the equation.

From the SLA press release today:
"“Today’s summary suspension (of the Bogie II license) demonstrates the SLA’s renewed focus on cracking down quickly and decisively on licensees who pose a threat to their communities,” said SLA CEO Trina Mead."
(My emphasis.)
Huh! It didn't seem quick and decisive.

I was just going to say the same thing. Didn't seem very quick or decisive.
Actually, if you think about it, today's decision was quick and decisive. It's all relative... lol
