I'm just sort of tickled to announce this, after working on it the past few months. I'm not suggesting you buy a copy. All the stories are on my website, anyway, where you can read them for free.

Love the story Dave. Does it take place on the W. Canada? I think I told you before that over the years I have walked literally every inch of that stream or it's banks from a couple miles north of the Noblesboro Bridge to Prospect, and from just below the powerhouse in Trenton Falls to the mouth of the creek where it runs into the Mohawk in Herkimer.
It was my grandfather's favorite, my dad's favorite, and mine. I have fished the W. Canada since I was old enough to go with my dad and hold my own pole. It truly IS heaven, and it is one of the things I miss most about upstate NY.
When I was much younger, you could walk the W Canada, and when you came to a little tributary creek, some no more than a foot or two wide, you could follow them back through the pastures and alders, and dangle a fly to catch beautiful native brook trout. Not so any more. Mostly stocked browns and rainbows now.
Once again your story picked me up from my chair and left me standing in waders, with a trout thumping on the end of a line. Great work Dave.

Fiona, alas, that is correct. But they may serve it on the picnic tables out back for those who indulge. Clip, I was actually writing about a place on the Esopus Creek, about 30 minutes from here. But as I was doing so, realized that I also travel up the other end of Route 28 when I go to the W.Canada, which is just as beautiful a stream as the Esopus. However, it's the stretch of 28 down here that is damned dangerous. Tremendous amount of accidents. I named the book "Heaven," because I usually name a book using one of the story titles, and also because I liked it for a book title.
