That article today included much different info than was claimed by the players before.

The fact that you had a cell phone pic of Fiorini in a "compromising position" certainly does raise some ?s. Don't ya think? What was the goal? To pressure him to abstain? To pressure for votes WITH you? And I'm not trying to vilify, just curious.

Can you please post the picture? Since the DA has already said it isn't an issue I'd like to see it.
Heh.

I was wondering what that was all about myself, especially since the OD said they knew about it existing back in August. I'm confused as to why they would say that.

A few juicy tidbits and this could blow up into the Tiger Woods or Matt Sullivan case of the month in Utica NY. I imagine that the grand jury will find the truth, and the truth is that Hendrick's letter is unsubstantiated crap and political mud slinging. HE will probably be prosecuted or sued in civil court.
As for his taking office. I have already made up my mind that by his statements alone, about getting revenge against his own party, that he does not deserve to serve and should be tossed. It is one of the stupidist and most disgusting of political moves in recent history.
I am glad that it has blown up in his face. Bring it ALL out in the open, and let him pay. An elected official can't be allowed to just sling unfounded or undocumented crap in the fire and make a media event out of his misdeed.

Fair enough. I think the whole thing is absurd to put it mildly. The notion that he couldn't have used his clout to garner the necc votes despite abstaining is a joke. Hendricks is a joke. I agree with Clipper. There's not much he could really do to garner any respect or support from my perspective and I think that most feel that way.
I totally respect your willingness to answer the post.
I know many have thrown out suggestions for your political future but I for 1 would like to see you stay right here and continue the work that you started. With some help, this house of cards can tumble.

After working in circles that came in contact with Mr. Hendricks I found his politics not to my liking. I like to be represented by someone willing to do the job……or at least show up at a Leg. meeting now and then.
I used to respect him for being a neighbor and a representative, albeit not a very good one.
Now, I have absolutely none……for any reason.
In my opinion he has taken the seat away from someone doing an outstanding job, by “methods” that I have to scratch my head about, and in turn attempted to continue trying to tarnish the reputation of someone I consider a true gentleman who has enough of “old school” upbringing to have a greater sense of honor than most folks I run across these days.
I hope they rend the flesh from his bones in court. ;D

larry, larry, seeing the truck there and questioning it is one thing but snapping a photo come on it does smack of at least a nefarious thought process on your part at the time, and you can see how easily this crap can backfire..

"In fact, I was called by THEM and asked what I thought."
BUT, how did the OD know you had that picture to begin with? That's the only part I don't understand.
Thanks for being so forthright.

How I'm reading it; Larry was driving by CEO's house and saw Mr. Fiorini's vehicle parked outside - took a picture - and brought it to legislature with concern of sweetheart deals, and Mr. Fiorini abstained. The OD contacted Larry to ask him what he thought (about the $ deal) and Larry told them how he had taken this photo to the Legislature to suggest Mr. Fiorini abstain due to a relationship he has with the CEO (friendship or not).

I didn't realize D.V.'s house was so well known or centrally located.
