Yes, crazy women are fascinating. Crazy men, not so much. IMHO, anyway. What a sorry early life she was subjected to. Makes you wanna go back and execute everyone in her so-called family.

That movie Monster was really good.
I love the criminal element, especially if they're nuts at the same time... ;D

I watched the Monster trailer on YouTube a few moments ago and it seemed familiar. I know I didn't go see it in the theaters, and so I wonder if it's been on TV. Anyway, I have the distinct impression that I didn't watch very much of it. Couldn't take it. For one thing, witnessing a beautiful woman like Charlize Theron physically transform herself into a monster is really hard to take. And beyond that, evil is really tough on the nerves. Don't remember where I read it, but I really had to agree with Aileen's take on being judged insane. She said something like, "I'm not insane. Can't you accept that I just hate everyone?"

Yeah, it's been on TV, Dave. I agree Aileen wasn't "crazy". I said the above about those who happen to be both as I find the criminally insane interesting. I don't think Dahmer was crazy, either, but he was a psychopath. Where does the line blur? Heavy stuff...

I just got the book in the mail yesterday. I should go read it but Clipper's Board keeps drawing me back.
