Steven Barnes: A Year of FreedomThis was good, and right on. His conviction NEVER should have happened. It was a yawn and a glance the other way for Donalty, Buckley, and others either in the know that Barnes was innocent, or the "I don't care if he's innocent or not." And it still goes on today. Yes, it goes on today. How do these people sleep at night? How do they look at themselves in the mirror? Maybe there is no conscience. Maybe they sleep just fine.

you have to blame hasenaur and the 2 investigators who took the easy road at a time when they had a more viable suspect and may have been paid off to look the other way or chose to due to the influence of the family of the killer...if the kiler is the person alluded to on topix then you have a wealthy influential family involved and a suspect who allegedy engages in rape and intimidation as a nasty habit no one will know for sure until one of the five "persons" of interest come forward and i suspect eventually immunity will be granted to a witness and the whole thing will unravel.

I suspect there are a few others to blame as well, but that's a good start. I think that ALL to blame should be held accountable (judges, da's investigators, etc.). Because weren't they all accessories to a crime? And accessories to further crimes by the individual who was free to keep raping and causing harm? Everyone who was hurt then and thereafter is on their heads as well. There are a lot of people with blood on their hands.

With all the rumors and gossip that flowed around for over twenty years leaves me thinking there were plenty of witnesses in that group and attending that party who never came forward with the truth also. Shame on those for allowing an innocent boy take the rap for those in certain clicks close to them. In my book, they are just as guilty as those who did the killing of that beautiful young girl.

why do you think the 2 investigators are not responding i see them as co-respondents in the law suite espcially if it is proved a coverup of sorts took place.

With America's Most Wanted getting involved ... you know, they always make such a big deal out of the police and investigators - the heros out there fighting crime. What do they say in a situation like this, when the investigation was negligent, and so obviously on purpose. We should hold up SOS signs when they are filming. Maybe somebody out there would notice and rescue us from the corruption in Oneida County. NOT to say the investigators who are on it now are bad guys. Seems like they are really trying. Just talking about those before. And the judge (Buckley). And the DA (Donalty) even though an assistant prosecuted. I'm sure everything had to get past Donalty. 'Course we know he'd NEVER allow an innocent man go to prison. Because he doesn't want families to suffer.

Seriously, if they can't make a show with entertainment value from their footage , it won't play well back at the ranch. Problem is, they seldom waste a shoot. So you can bet that no matter where the truth lies, television will always go for the angle that entertains.

Since this thread was entitled "Good Article on Republicrat" I must ask - Where'd Republicrat go? The website is gone ...

I thought that I had read that they were attempting to grow into a political news group with a projected launch of Jan 1.
