Not a book, but an article from a 1996 issue of Crisis magazine.
The subjects are C.S. Lewis, Hilaire Belloc and G.K. Chesterton. I found the discussion by the article and the following comments posted to be a fascinating look at these authors I have read lightly, appreciated and sometimes not fully understood.
