its Jimmy Carter times 10 all over again and here i thought that Carter was the worst president in history but i think Obama is gonna prove me wrong.....I"m surprised with the Afghan crisis he hasnt hopped on a plane to somwhere else to lobby for some other inconsequential issue or apologize for america one more time. Even Clinton every time his dicky got him in trouble he started a skirmish some where in the world with Obama everytime some imprtant issue needs to be decided he hops on a plane to neverneverland!

I am so impressed with our president, that I could only wait impatiently for his BS news conference from the rose garden to be over so I could return to watching The Price Is Right. That is pretty sad. I didn't give a crap which kid woke him up with the news, or that it was Bo's birthday. They interrupt regularly scheduled programming for the pres to brag a little, and tell us that it is his dog's birthday. That could have waited for the 6 o'clock news and then I probably would have flipped around the dial while he was speaking.
Drew Cary for President in 2012! LOL!

Reuters' reports: "Describing himself as surprised and deeply humbled, Obama said he would accept the award as a "call to action" to confront the global challenges of the 21st century. "I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments but rather an affirmation of American leadership on behalf of aspirations held by people in all nations," he said in the White House Rose Garden.""
So that makes it unanimous. No one, not even the recipient, knows why he won it.
It seemed to me the Nobel Peace Prize had therefore been cheapened, until I remembered that past winners include Jimmy Carter, Kofi Annan, and ... believe it or not ... the murderer, Yasser Arafat.

Huffington PostWhy Obama Got the Prize: A Psychologist Weighs InDr. Robert EpsteinAuthor, editor, radio talk-show host, and longtime psychology researcher Posted: October 9, 2009 03:13 PM "This isn't what it seems. It's not really a Nobel Prize. It's a "Thank-God-You're-Not-Bush" Prize. We're witnessing what research psychologists call a "contrast" effect, occurring in a grand way in an unlikely place." "Yes, many of us at home have mixed feelings about Obama because our economy is still sinking (although more slowly, of course!) and because our young men and women are still dying almost every day in Afghanistan and Iraq. But to people in other countries, such as some dowdy old folks sitting in a posh drawing room in Stockholm, Obama is the greatest thing since Saab introduced the heated driver's seat in 1972."
