Hmmm. I know that have seen that weird corner piece shown on the eaves. It isn't the central station, but how about the station on the corner of Shepard Place and Sunset, near Faxton Hospital?

Hard to tell from up here in space, but the windows don't match. (Click to enlarge.) If you think it's a firehouse, maybe a a better bet would be an old firehouse that's now out of the fire service. Reason is, the brickwork looks in need of re-pointing and the overall effect is not that of a building still in public service. We had a thread on various Utica firehouses, but I can't remember the name or when. A number of photos were posted.

Well you showed us the inside so possibly this is the outside of Pellietieri Joes on Jay and Pellietieri Ave. (quite a few red brick bldgs in that area as I recall)
Schuyler Club on Genesee across from Gas & Elec bldg comes close too.

The Fort Schuyler Club building is gray if I remember correctly. There are red brick buildings such as this along Broad St in the East end.
I wish I still lived there. I would be driven by curiosity to go out and look for this place until I found it, haha.
I have this feeling that I have seen that strange little structure on the corner of the building somewhere in my travels around Utica, but I cannot remember where or when. That deja vou thing is making me crazy, haha.
I wonder if that little structure at one time contained a clock?

No clock.
It IS a three story building....

If this is a three story building, the mature trees reflected in the windows tell me that it is not in the downtown commercial area. Hmmm. Back to straining my brain and searching my memory banks.
I will take another whack at it.
Is it by chance the building that houses Pasquale's Pizza on the corner of Varick and Cooper Streets? I haven't been in that area lately, but the trees probably eliminate this as a candidate.

How bout the building on the point on Oneida Square. The block of Genesee between Park, Genesee & Eagle. Last I knew Gigliotti's Driving School was there.

The building on the point is only 2 floors, according to the satellite photos. There are 2 three story brick buildings behind it. None of the three building's cornices look like exact matches, although the window heads might be close.
