I don't know where Jon went off to, but I did some checking at fultonhistory. I couldn't find out the location of Utica Park, but Jon probably will. What I did find was that it evidently specialized in horse racingin the 1870's, and the New York Times among other papers carried race results from there. By the 1920's, it was an amusement park known for dancing. Because of the trolley story, I suspect it was east of Utica, toward Frankfort.  |
