Kuwait Times While Reuters and other news organizations carried this story today:North Korea makes nuke threat over military drillsAugust 17, 2009"SEOUL: North Korea denounced upcoming joint South Korean and US military drills and said it would "wipe out" the countries with nuclear weapons if they threatened the communist state, its KCNA news agency said yesterday." ... the New York Times' only mention of North Korea in it's story line-up is, "North Korea to Reopen Its Border to the South." Drilling down into that article, you'll eventually find that the Times mentions North Korea is protesting joint talks between the US and South Korea. And that North Korea "said an “annihilating” retaliation could be one consequence. Still, that kind of bellicose language is almost standard from the North and was eclipsed by its outreach about the border and tourism." Seems the NY Times doesn't want you to get upset with North Korea. I wonder why? Could it have something to do with Obama/Clinton's current diplomacy with Kim J II? Put me down as someone who needs a lot of "eclipsing" to take my attention away from being nuked.
