It is a sad day for the music world as they mourn the passing of Les Paul. I am sure Jon Hynes, Kit and some of our other member musicians can better address this than I can, but I remember listening to Les Paul and Mary Ford singing Tennessee Waltz, and Mockingbird Hill when I was a kid.
I am sure that many of our musicians have also wrapped their hands around the neck of a Les Paul solid body, Gibson guitar also.
I will leave the reminiscing and more history to be posted by those more informed than myself, but along with the rest of the world I will be remembering him and his music today while the Tennessee Waltz plays in my mind.

Here's Les Paul later in life without Mary, playing How High The Moon as an instrumental. Nice finger work!

This is really neat. Les Paul and Mary Ford interviewed by (I think) Alastair Cooke, adding track numbers 25 and 26 to a 24 track version of How High The Moon!
