Not to oversimplify, but I wonder if our new President realizes that the reason
he can visit Russia today and make agreements, instead of nuking them or genuflecting, is because Ronald Reagan's Defense Plan (including Star Wars) brought them to their economic knees and "buried them."

Yeah, well you know historians. But in this case I'd agree with them. They will also be kind to Clinton because of things that happened on his watch. And that's fair, since it's always been true that each administration gets blamed or lauded for what happened.
What's I'd like to come back for in 50 years is to see how historians treat Nixon.
