Thanks everyone and have a Happy Independence Day, and be SAFE. Here's just another fun video of our campaigning today (not many people home on a Holiday weekend).
*Note* This was just a fun video I threw together...and that dog told me he was a Democrat! LOL

Hey Larry I like the vids and I really liked the resulting discussion from the guys here too. Sometimes I cringe when you say things not because they're radical or forthright but because many of us here have seen firsthand exactly how low certain actors will go to maintain the Usual Suspect family circus. That takes serious courage in a political climate where just about anything goes as long as an election is won or a detractor discredited or threatened. I think it's a good idea someone had here to get together a loose coalition of "like-minded" individuals to help promote the good and call out the bad. You're on the right track there I think, and perhaps you will meet more like-minded students when you get back to school soon. I imagine good things as long as you stay wide open and pick and choose your points. Last, it's refreshing to see how people respond to you here I haven't seen these guys this "sunshiny" in a while... hope helps today!

Larry, did you know that kidnapping your campaign worker is a federal offense? hahahaha. Federal offense?!?! There goes that idea...LOL. I think Hennessy would be a little upset too. That was his daughter with us campaigning. She's a great kid. Believe it or not, Mike Hennessy is a huge family man and a great father. He has a younger son too that he spends a lot of time with. His wife is a Saint too. Great family. BTW - Yes, it's 4am and I'm still up. LOL

too bad Henessy suffers from meglomania I'm relatively sure none of you elected reps for a particular constituency have the authority to negotiate any kind of deals with the Oneidas

Hey Lucy. I beeped at your husband. By the time we worked our way back down the street, it looked like you guys left. BTW - since when did that place with the AWESOME wings close? I was so upset.
Corner, unfortunately, the CE has less power than the Legislators. He has no vote on any deal like we do. But like I told Swimmy, there are way to many egos involved on both sides of this. I think it's best for the courts to sift through the complex issues in order for the whole thing to finally get closure. If that takes time then so be it. That is what the courts are for. It's not a negative thing. The issues and laws are way too complex for ANY of us to completely understand. And if we get nothing in the end, then at least we get finallity.
With the myraid of major issues facing us - poverty, taxes, medicaid, infrastructure, reform, nepotism, etc. - it's unfortunate that this one issue is being so polarized. This is exactly how the status quo likes it. It keeps the people divided and thus keeps them in office. We can't keep allowing them to divide us based on single issues. They've been doing it successfully for way too long.

Just a couple of points:
1. I may disagree with Mr. Tanoury on the Oneidas, but my support for him has not swayed as a result. In fact, I've been private messaging him about it. I like to think that people can disagree on some issues but be professional enough and big-picture minded to not withdraw support for one another on issues we do agree on. I try to be one of those people. So if I gave any impression otherwise, I'm sorry. I wanted to clarify that here.
2. That girl in the video is cute.
3. I hate my cats, who decided to take the hot dog buns left over from the family barbecue, proceeded to tear through the plastic bag, ate half of them, and crushed the rest of them. All while on my bed waiting for me to roll into a soppy wet mess. And I just cleaned the comforter to get rid of all their cat hair. I wonder if Chinese restaurants accept donations...

Sounds like someone needs a BREADBOX!! I usually keep my hot dog buns there, and not in MY BED, hahaha! Do you have one of those hot dog roller thingys on your night stand to cook the hotdogs? Sheesh, that is a little over the top. Hey, I have been known to munch a few peanuts while reading in bed, but if I was going to cook snacks at the bedside, I would opt for the pizza oven rather than the hot dog cooker, haha. Hey, what the hell, even if you insist on keeping the buns on your bed, at least you could lock the cats in the breadbox if you had one! ;D

I know, right? Funny thing is that I got home late last night and decided it would be best to just put the damn things on top of the fridge -- thinking they would never go up there. Boy was I wrong! Lock the cats in the breadbox, eh? You might just be on to something...

Cats are amazing critters when it comes to getting places you never would imagine that they could get to. We once had a cat that would retreat to the top of the fridge whenever we had company, and would just sit up there and watch us as we drank coffee at the kitchen table. I also had a cat go down a cold air return and into the duct work once. We had a cold air duct behind the couch and I took the screws out to vacuum the duct and didn't replace them. We heard the cat and could not find it, only to find the register cover off the duct and the cat down in the ductwork. Cats are sneaky creatures Swimmy. All I can say is if you have cats, you have to watch your buns, haha.

Swimmy, that worries me about your cats. They must have been starving to eat hotdog buns! Please tell me your feeding them properly... ~~Stoney, former Stevens-Swan board member & forever animal lover

No worries. I feed them each a can of wet food a day. I also leave a little dry food for them during the day while I'm at work. They're scrappers. Last night I threw out some old cooked chicken, but forgot to put it in the garbage can outside, just left it in the kitchen garbage. They pried open the cabinet door, pulled out, shredded the plastic bag and ate the rest of the chicken. Last week, they pulled out an empty pint carton of ice cream. Whatever melted ice cream remained when I threw it out, they cleaned up. Fortunately, it was vanilla ice cream and not chocolate. One time, they climbed into my briefcase while I was showering before work and pulled out my chicken sandwich. The only remains were the plastic shreds and some crumbs. I fed them when I first woke up. clipper220.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=petchat&action=display&thread=776&page=1 Do they look like they're starving? Trust me, my cats want for nothing. They are just your typical woman: impossible to please.
