American capitalism gone with a whimperIt must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American descent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people. True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists. Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters. First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish. Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America. The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.Article CONTINUED at: english.pravda.ru/opinion/columnists/107459-0/

It seems that an awful lot of people are seeing this happen, but we're in the minority. A willing media is crafting what's being told, for the most part. Unfortunately, only time will tell how, if and what this country will look like when the next elections hit.

And for the most part American's will sit back and watch there favorite movie. It was an interesting note that today it was mentioned that we American's must be prepared for what happens in terms of a ever increasing deficit. Ironically all this money is being given away and America must wait to find out how we will repay what has been loaned to private business.
In a recent talk by President Obama he jokingly stated that he has fulfilled his 100 day earmarks and even throughout that time was able to rest on the Seventh Day. This is rather an interesting Biblical reference from a man who rejects the fact that life begins at conception or I might add implantation.
Now he is in Saudi Arabia where he tends to aligned himself with the Muslim faith even though in his race to The White House that was quietly ignored. I do believe that he can do a great amount of good in American- Islamic relations but he has to be very careful with the alliance between the USA and Israel. Palestine must be given its own State. I think that is the answer to the question of a conventional relationship of the Israeli land with God( G_d); have to be respectful of the Orthodox use of printing the name of the Most Holy. Christians living in the Holy Land and Catholics( of various denominations) are really having a major difficult time coexisting in an Israeli world.
"Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses ", how true.I feel sorry for any minister who confronts the Obama Presidency on some of its issues. Look at what happened at Notre Dame graduation. Ironically the media chose not to dwell much on the movement that led up to Obama's presence at Notre Dame. I remember what a friend of mine told me about the Orthodox Russian Church. The government had its own men studying for the priesthood only to be ordained then be able to hear the confessions of Russia's people and then quietly have them arrested under trumped up charges.

Well, of course it seems more likely as we get older that perdition is about to come up out of a crack in the earth and engulf us in its fiery grip. We don't like what we see. We don't like change. But things always change. Sometimes for the good, sometimes bad. And the world goes on. I have this vision of my 7 year old granddaughter standing on a hill in just a few short years, surveying the panorama of the world and finding it good. Just as good as I did at the same age so many years ago, while a few old farts stood nearby making sour pusses and groaning about the world going to hell in a hand basket. Concerned, everything you predict will come true, at least eventually. It will happen, because there are too many people in the world now and procreation is not slowing. In "The New Man" Merton said he believed man's soul continues to develop (good thing he didn't say "evolve"!! ) and that we couldn't know what to expect from man as a spiritual entity years in the future. (That's the only thing I remember from the book.)

One of the things that I find very ironic. In Obama's campaign no one was allowed to mention his "Islam" faith/heritage, much less mention his middle name. Now it's proudly displayed. Items such as his stay and time in Indonesia were poo pood. How quickly things change.
