It may be that the family anchored by judges and lawyers is simply doing a little "pro-boner" work on the side, or the lawyers in the family have pissed off someone that they represented or prosecuted and are the target of some very nasty, and hard to defend against, sex related charges. When a young girl alleges sexual impropriety by an adult, especially a prominent adult, the sympathy tends to be with the alleged victim, and it is hard to defend against.
If the Garramones are guilty of the charges, I hope that they pay the price, but on many occasions in modern times, a young woman or man can make an allegation, and totally ruin the life of a school teacher, policeman, or lawyer, by simply stating that something improper may have happened. Even if not convicted, the smudge remains on the person's reputation long after they are exhonorated.
Only the courts can sort it out, and only time will tell if the charges are true or fabricated.

Something sure does sound odd here.
Sure sounds like someone pissed off someone important along the way, or else the world has turned upside down, cause I just don't see any of this making sense now.

Sounds like somebody made some real enemy's. I agree something sounds real screwy, but hey if it is true I will teach them both how to mop and buff floors and introduce them to Big Bubba at the Big House where we always leave the light on.

Damn, what shame if these two men did what they're accused of. Their careers and future went right down the drain. Never mind the embarrassment they brought to their well respected family.

Sad part is that if they didn't do it......their careers and futures went down the drain anyway.

Yeah, ok. Someone's pissed off so they decided to go after the family of a prominent judge? Gimme a break. The only thing odd here, is why 2 adult men would decide to prey on a 15 yr. old girl. Do you actually believe that the DA's office would decide to prosecute the sons of a prominent ex judge unless there was some good hard evidence to back up the allegations?

Look at the Desire Case case, or the most recent one where the guy was released from prison after 20+ years. Out of county, the Duke lax boys case. But was it the same 15-year old? I thought the CAC would not go into detail. It just seems odd that two members of a prominent family would fall from grace and in such a short time period.

I'm more swayed by Kracker's argument. Yes, the DA makes mistakes, but if such, this would be a huge mistake. But also remembering that "innocent until proved guilty" has worked for an awfully long time.

Swimmy, don't know about the DA's office being involved in this illegally or otherwise because isn't one of Judge Garramone's sons a DA? Being the brother of the other two accused.

Yes Bobbbiez, one of the brothers is an assistant DA. I doubt that there is any funny business in the DA's office. I am beginning to think that with the second brother being arrested, maybe one or both are guilty, and it may run in the family.
I heard about a local guy here that went to church where my sister goes, that lost his family because he was into porn on the computer and simply would not quit it. His wife left him, the church has no more to do with him (typical judgemental, holier than thou) and his kids are not allowed to stay overnight with him.
There are some sick bastards out there, and they don't ALL match the profile of a typical Perv.

Dave, I don't necessarily disagree with Kracker's statements either. I should have prefaced my response with the fact I was playing devil's advocate. But there have been many a time when the DA has gone forward with less than credible evidence despite knowing a conviction was impossible.

Yes, bobbbiez, Grant Garramone is an Assistant District Attorney and has been for quite some time. That is why the DA is requesting a special prosecutor from Onondaga County to handle the investigations and any subsequent criminal proceedings derived therefrom.
I know Grant, and feel sorry for him.
