Folks, here is a blogger I only discovered a few months ago and the insight they provide is OUTSTANDING. I encourage you to check them out. It's also my understanding that they will be launching a new website in June. therepublicrat.wordpress.com/

Thanks for the pointers, rodwilson! I had no clue we were lucky enough to have a resource like republicrat in Oneida County.
I have to concur with his assessment of Gerry Fiorii -- Gerry is the Legislative Chairman and wields a lot of power. It would take a well funded primary to unseat him. There's no chance of a Democrat beating him in that district in the General Election. Too many people march into the poll and vote the same way they always have. And then complain when nothing changes.

This should be very interesting to say the least. I'll have the tissues ready and not because of crying over any bad news, but because I'll probably be laughing so hard the tears will flow. What's with all the secrets? He doesn't have the power to change much anyways.

Why do politicians bitterly complain when they are not invited to press conferences?
For goodness sakes, call your own press conference if you need your face in the news. If no one shows up, take that as an indication of your effectiveness in office. Sheesh

Who cares whether you are invited? If you're invited, GO. If you're not, CRASH IT! Either way, quit bitching, it's not like you're being excluded from the press conference!
